Made up of motor vehicle parts suppliers both small and large and serving every major segment of the motor vehicle industry, MEMA’s Government Affairs Committee (GAC) determines the key legislative priorities of MEMA on the state and federal level.

Register for the Ohio Industry Day & GAC Meeting on May 16

Calling all AASA, HDMA, MERA, OESA members with facilities in Ohio! The upcoming Ohio Industry Day and MEMA Government Affairs Committee Meeting will take place in Columbus, Ohio on May 16 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. 

The agenda includes presentations from the following:

• Kristi Tanner, Automotive Manager of Jobs Ohio
• Christine Schmenk, Director of the Ohio Department of Development
• Barry Doggett, Senior Vice President, Government & Community Affairs, Eaton Corporation
• Ed Roberts & Jesse Gannon, Office of Sen. Sherrod Brown
• Dawn Larzelere, Assistant Policy Director, Economic and Workforce Development (invited)

The meeting will focus heavily on economic development and worker education and training issues.

As a benefit of your association membership, the meeting is free of charge but registration is required.  Members with a responsibility for government affairs as well as local plant managers are strongly encouraged to attend.
