Messe Frankfurt Inc. and MEMA: Global Benefit for Members

AUTOMECHANIKA: MOSCOW - MIDDLE EAST - MEXICO - GERMANY - SHANGHAI

Through an exclusive agreement between Messe Frankfurt Inc. (MF) and MEMA, all members can receive preferred access to the USA pavilions at the Automechanika shows.

This new cooperation agreement expands the existing relationship between MF and MEMA that included promotion of the primary Automechanika show in Frankfurt and a partnership between MF and MEMA in the production of the PAACE Automechanika Mexico show.

Messe Frankfurt Inc. now offers members special turnkey packages in USA Pavilions at the Automechanika shows in Dubai, Frankfurt, Moscow and Shanghai in 2008, giving members easy access to these important growth markets.

Automechanika Moscow – International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts, Equipment and Service Suppliers – held its second show in March 2008. More than 5,000 visitors attended the fair which featured 139 exhibitors from Belgium, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iran, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Malta, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey and the United States.

Everything which keeps the future of the automobile industry on the move will be exhibited at Automechanika 2006 in Frankfurt am Main. Here at the international meeting point for the automobile industry, automotive parts, components and systems, electronics, supply and maintenance, right up to environmental and recycling concepts will be featured. Automechanika is increasingly becoming a platform for original equipment fitters in the automobile industry, distinguished by innovations and new functions, systems and new technologies. Automechanika’s international significance –almost 80 percent of exhibitors and 40 percent of visitors originate from other countries – provides interesting opportunities in this sector, too.

The third Automechanika Shanghai in 2007 was the largest Automechanika held outside Germany with nearly 22,000 trade visitors from 103 countries and regions. The fair, which focused on parts, products and equipment for the automotive OE and aftermarket, housed 1,250 exhibitors in six halls, creating a huge product showcase and pivotal meeting point for industry professionals.
