Orland Park, IL –The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) is adding a new matchmaking solution called Networking Zone to its Web site (www.AAPEXShow.com), enabling exhibitors and buyers to connect with each other before they get to the show. The 2006 AAPEX will be held Tuesday, Oct. 31, through Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas. The Networking Zone will be available in mid-summer at no cost to AAPEX exhibitors and buyers. Users must sign up to participate. The program will take specific preferences identified by exhibitor profiles and match them with prospective buyers. Buyers will also be able to indicate their preferences and be matched with exhibitors who share their interests. Exhibitors and buyers can specify how and when to receive leads. “This state-of-the-art matchmaking program creates the customer relationship before the show, leads to appointments at the event, and ultimately will generate sales at AAPEX,” said Bill Glasgow, Sr., AAPEX show manager. “It’s an integrated system of connecting buyers and sellers that will start working the minute you sign up,” added Glasgow. When using the Networking Zone, exhibitors and buyers grant permission to interact, preserving the AAPEX confidentiality and permission policies. AAPEX 2006 will be held Tuesday, Oct. 31, through Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Due to heavy demand for exhibit space for the 2006 show, AAPEX exhibits this year will also occupy the entire Venetian Ballroom. AAPEX is the annual business-to-business trade show representing the $250 billion North American retail and service aftermarket, and features more than 2,000 exhibitors. AAPEX is jointly sponsored by the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) and the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA). For more information, visit www.AAPEXShow.com.
