North American Trucks CEO Slagle to Provide Perspective on Next Ten Years

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – December 14, 2009 -- Heavy Duty Dialogue 2010, January 2010 in Las Vegas will feature a unique discussion on the topic: Trucking – A Ten Year View.

A highlight of the annual conference will be a panel discussion featuring Denny Slagle, CEO of North American Trucks, which includes Mack Trucks, Inc. and Volvo Trucks of North America, and two industry leading analysts.

Mr. Slagle will provide a major manufacturer’s perspective on how trucking can remain viable and sustainable in the face of the many significant challenges and changes coming in the next decade.

Sandeep Kar, Global Program Manager - Commercial Vehicle Research, Frost and Sullivan and Clem Driscoll, president of CJ Driscoll and Associates will discuss the impact of advanced safety, environmental and energy technologies. The panel discussion will be moderated by Jim Mele, Editorial Director of Penton Media’s Fleet Owner Magazine.
