Heavy Duty Suppliers and Distributors Show Strong Support for HDAW‘10

Release Date: December 15, 2009

ORLAND PARK, IL – Dec. 11, 2009 –The organizers of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week report strong support from both suppliers and distributors for the HDAW’10 conference in January, with significant increases in exhibitor and buyer registrations over the same period of the prior year. More than 350 booths have been reserved, including 30 new exhibitors,                  a 7 percent increase over the prior year. 256 distributors have registered,      a 25 percent improvement over the 196 registered the same time in December of last year.

Suppliers surveyed indicated that they intend to use HDAW‘10 at the Mirage in Las Vegas, Monday, Jan. 18 through Thursday, Jan. 21 to introduce their latest product lines and promote cutting-edge technology to the top heavy-duty distributors in the US.

"The number of both distributors and suppliers currently registered far exceeds our numbers from the same time last year and is very encouraging for the entire business year.” said Gary Smalley, HDAW‘10 co-chairman. “The number of supplier space commitments for HDAW’10 reflects its value to the supplier, even in light of the current economic situation and it speaks well for the venue’s true value.”

HDAW'10 will be held at the Mirage in Las Vegas, Nev., Monday, Jan. 18 through Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010.

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week is the largest North American gathering of the independent heavy-duty industry. More than 1,400 managers and executives from 17 countries – including distributors, manufacturers, service providers, educators and media – attended the 2009 conference in Orlando.
