Ana Meuwissen

Ana M. Meuwissen serves as the senior vice president of Government Affairs for MEMA, the Vehicle Suppliers Association. She joined MEMA in March 2024, bringing more than a decade of experience leading federal policy efforts in the mobility sector.
Prior to her current role, Meuwissen served as the Director of Government Affairs for Bosch for over 11 years, where she oversaw the development and implementation of the company’s government affairs strategy in the United States.
Meuwissen previously worked at the law firm of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, where she represented the interests of clients in the mobility sector before the White House, the U.S. Congress and various regulatory agencies. Her key areas of expertise include passenger car and commercial vehicle safety and advanced technology, international trade policy and policy concerns specific to manufacturing operations.
Over the course of her career, Meuwissen has been directly engaged in several landmark policy developments, including the renegotiation of NAFTA and the creation of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement (USMCA), the passage of the Infrastructure and Investment in Jobs Act (IIJA), and the supplier industry’s initiative to address tariffs during the George W. Bush Administration.
Meuwissen holds a Master of Arts degree in international relations and political theory from the University of Westminster in London and a Bachelor of Arts degree in government and biology from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
