President, MEMA Original Equipment Suppliers

Collin Shaw is the president of MEMA Original Equipment Suppliers, the leading trade association representing motor vehicle component manufacturers. He has also served as chief commercial vehicle officer and chief operating officer for the MEMA Original Equipment Suppliers, and president and chief operating officer of the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), MEMA’s former commercial vehicle supplier division.
As president, Shaw is focused on strengthening the position of suppliers at the forefront of innovation and sustainability and ensuring their interests are well-represented in national policy discussions. A central priority of his leadership has been amplifying the supplier voice — with policymakers, customers, the public and across the broader mobility supply chain.
In 2025, under his direction, MEMA has fostered stronger relationships with the new administration and deepened its connections with both passenger car and heavy truck original equipment manufacturers. These efforts have supported strategic advocacy on trade, tariff reform, EV supply chain resilience and critical materials policy, including the development of targeted tariff relief proposals, high-level collaboration with federal agencies and congressional leaders and coalition-building to shape industrial policy that supports onshoring and supplier innovation. MEMA’s work continues to position suppliers as essential contributors to U.S. economic security and the future of mobility.
Before joining MEMA in 2022, Shaw was responsible for North American business strategy at ZF Group. He brings over 15 years of experience in the mobility industry across automotive and commercial vehicle sectors, having held roles in marketing, communications, strategy, digital solutions and business development. At FCA (now Stellantis), he served as Jeep’s global brand manager and in Chrysler’s Leadership Development Program. While at WABCO, he partnered with heavy-duty OEMs to develop advanced technology roadmaps.
Shaw holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Utah and an MBA with a focus on International Business from the University of South Carolina.
