The bipartisan REPAIR Act will ensure that aftermarket suppliers can continue providing high-quality, safe repairs and parts by ensuring access to vehicle data needed for routine repair and maintenance. As a MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers member, there’s many ways your organization can make your voice heard.

    Activate Your Organization

    As members of the automotive aftermarket, your employees and customers are key voices in the fight for equitable vehicle data access. Stand with us in championing the need for federal right to repair protections like the REPAIR Act.

    Some ways to activate your organization and networks include:

    • Sending information about right to repair and the REPAIR Act in employee-wide communications like emails or newsletters;
    • Posting about the REPAIR Act on social media;
    • Hosting a virtual lunch-and-learn with MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers staff and employees;
    • And many more!

    Want more ideas of ways to get involved? Read and sign the Supplier R2R Pledge today.

    Have questions or need more information? Please contact us at repairact@mema.org.

    Sign Up for the At-Home Repair Campaign

    Hosting your representative for an on-site visit is one of the most influential actions aftermarket suppliers can take. Helping members of Congress understand our industry and its impact on their home districts and states goes a long way in gaining their support on right to repair.

    First-hand interactions with MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers members, employees, and facilities help personalize our industry, illustrate its impact, and bring the need for federal right to repair protections to life.

    We’ll do all the heavy lifting – so you can focus on the handshakes. Just let us know if you’re interested!

    • Step 1: Complete our interest form.
    • Step 2: We then provide all the information you need to schedule a meeting or visit with your legislator, including a template invitation letter and submission instructions.
    • Step 3: When a meeting or visit is on the calendar, we provide the necessary information to prepare. A MEMA team member can also attend.
    • Step 4: After your meeting or visit is completed, we provide template thank-you letters for your legislator and their staff and a feedback form.

    If you have questions about the facility visit process, contact us at repairact@mema.org.
