- Relevance – Of interest to MEMA members or members' customers.
- Technologies – Should fall into one of the categories listed.

- July 14-18: Evaluation period (if selection group needs clarifications)

- August 13-September 10: Coaching period (selection group member will work with each finalist on the pitch deck)
- September 10: Conference registrations
- September 30: Final pitch deck deadline (submitted to MEMA)
- October 6: Pitch Session during the Aftermarket Technology Conference
- VC/Investment executives serves as judges and ask questions
