AASA Brake Manufacturers Council Announces Exclusive Partnership with LINK for 2022-2023

Link Engineering Company, a tenured BMC member, becomes the council’s annual partner
Date: October 31, 2022

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association’s (“AASA”) Brake Manufacturers Council (“BMC”) announced an exclusive partnership with Link Engineering Company (LINK) for 2022 - 2023.  LINK has been a long-time member and supporter of the BMC and redoubles their impact in the brake industry with this exclusive partnership.

LINK has been at the forefront of developing industry-standard equipment, custom solutions, and innovative testing services for the automotive, aerospace, and HVAC fields worldwide for more than 80 years.  LINK is always pushing the envelope into emerging technologies and considers it their responsibility to spearhead industry initiatives for the benefit of all.

“We are excited to expand our commitment through this partnership in support of the Brake Manufacturers Council. The value the other members and we receive from our membership in the council includes areas like government advocacy, vital input into regulations, including environmental work,” commented Tim Duncan, executive vice president, strategy & business development. “Additionally, the networking, education, and insight the council brings are second to none in the industry.”

“In becoming our annual partner, Link Engineering Company is highlighting the deep value in AASA councils, specifically the BMC,” commented Ben Brucato, vice president of engagement, AASA. “These small peer-to-peer networking groups are where the rubber meets the road with education and networking and LINK will elevate that impact with the BMC.”

The BMC serves companies engaged in manufacturing new automotive and light to heavy-duty truck brake components, including chemicals and raw materials used in the production of brake components, quality control, and testing of BMC member company products.  The BMC provides members with brake industry information and advocates with federal, state and local government, and regulatory agencies on members’ behalf. There are 22 different member companies participating in the council.
