AASA Leaders to Provide Insights on New Technologies, Market Trends at 2018 Gabelli & Company Aftermarket Symposium During AAPEX

AASA President and COO Bill Long and Executive Vice President Paul McCarthy will discuss current market trends and impact of new technologies

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Bill Long and Paul McCarthy, the top executives of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), are slated to speak at the 42nd Annual Automotive Aftermarket Symposium on Monday, Oct. 29 during AAPEX, hosted by Gabelli & Company.

“AASA is pleased to present again this year at Gabelli’s prestigious conference during AAPEX, where we will discuss the industry from the suppliers’ perspective,” said Bill Long, AASA president and chief operating officer. “Our presentations will level-set current market trends and provide key insights on the impact of new technologies within the automotive aftermarket.”

Long will discuss “New Aftermarket Realities -- Where Do We Go from Here?” at the Gabelli Symposium. Paul McCarthy, AASA executive vice president and MEMA senior vice president, strategy, will address, “Why Suppliers Matter”, “Mega-Trends” and “Aftermarket Opportunities: There Are a Lot More Ways to Make Money Than Just Automation and Electrification.”

Gabelli & Company’s Aftermarket Symposium is held annually at AAPEX, and this year’s event is slated for Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 29-30. This event is considered one of the foremost investor conferences covering the aftermarket. The Symposium will feature presentations by senior management of leading automotive companies, with an emphasis on industry dynamics, new technologies and company fundamentals.
