Date: July 12, 2023

Research Triangle Park, N.C., July 12, 2023 -- MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers recently promoted Danielle Kaspar to Director of Programs & Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket. Kaspar has been tasked with expanding the scope and membership of the Mobility Technology Council (MTC) and Business Technology Council (BTC). She is leading the effort to develop enhanced member value for and integrate commercial vehicle supplier members within the recently expanded association, which includes automotive, commercial vehicle and remanufacturing suppliers. She also has been assigned to help lead MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers’ mission to broaden its technology reach.

“Danielle’s contributions to our team are intelligent, focused, and committed to maximizing MEMA’s positive impact in the aftermarket industry,” said Chris Gardner, Senior Vice President of Programs and Technology at MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers. “We look forward to seeing Danielle’s strong, continued efforts to bring the technology aspects of the aftermarket to light through the various councils and forums that she leads.”

In addition to her management of the BTC and MTC, Danielle will continue to manage the Heavy Duty Marketing & Sales Forum (HDMSF) and the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Representatives Council (HDMRC). Specifically within the Business Technology Council, she will manage the Council’s Think Tanks, which are “the place to be” for member companies that wish to discuss critical technology topics and issues. Danielle is raising awareness of the BTC Technology Innovation Award, while also helping facilitate the new Heavy Duty e-Commerce Committee (HDeC).

Danielle obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from North Carolina State University. She has made significant contributions to her Durham, N.C., community by serving on the board of directors for Durham Technical Community College Foundation and Durham CrimeStoppers. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Durham and on the board development committee for the Triangle Nonprofit & Volunteer Leadership Center. As her engagement as a member of Corvettes International, Inc. displays, Danielle is sure to be powered by her passion for the automotive industry to make positive contributions to the recognition and awareness of technological developments in the aftermarket.

Prior to joining MEMA, Danielle spent 10 years with the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club and JB Duke Hotel as director of community relations & executive club, where she was responsible for the development, promotion, management, and member services for the Inn’s Executive Club.   She also had previous positions with the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce, Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau (Discover Durham), and The Herald-Sun.
