MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers Hosts Session to Address Tariff and Trade Implications for Remanufacturing

Event to provide critical insights on how evolving tariff policies affect remanufactured products and core materials
Date: September 15, 2025

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers is pleased to announce an upcoming Special Council Session: Tariffs & Trade Impacts on Remanufacturing, presented by the Council of Remanufacturing Excellence (CoRE). This timely session will provide an in-depth briefing on the latest tariff and trade developments directly affecting the remanufacturing industry. The event will take place on Monday, September 30, at 11 a.m. EST.

The session will feature Bill Frymoyer, vice president of public policy at MEMA, The Vehicle Suppliers Association and Antonio Rivera, partner at ArentFox Schiff LLP. Together, they will share expert insights into how recent tariff policies are shaping the movement of remanufactured products and cores across international borders and outline strategies for navigating today's evolving trade environment.

The discussion will be moderated by Sara Kaderly, director of programming and remanufacturing lead at MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers and will include an open Q&A for participants to engage directly with the speakers.

"Tariff and trade policy is a critical issue for the remanufacturing sector, influencing everything from cost structures to supply chain efficiency," said Kaderly. "This session is designed to equip our members with timely information and actionable strategies to better position their businesses in today's challenging global market."

The session is complimentary for all MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers members. Non-members can attend for $99. Visit the registration page to learn more and register.
