MEMA, The Vehicle Suppliers Association, Announces Leadership Transitions to Strengthen Member Engagement and Strategy
WASHINGTON, D.C. — MEMA, The Vehicle Suppliers Association, today announced two key leadership transitions designed to strengthen member engagement, enterprise strategy and communications.

Megan Gardner will transition to vice president, member content and councils for MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers. Gardner brings both deep aftermarket experience, having served as a leader on MEMA’s aftermarket marketing team, and enterprise-wide perspective from her role as executive director of marketing and communications. In her new role, she will lead aftermarket content strategy and council activities, deepening member engagement and creating scalable models to deliver greater value to aftermarket members and the broader industry.
Meghan MacDonald will assume the role of corporate vice president, strategy and communications. In this expanded role, she will lead cross-MEMA strategy development and enterprise-wide communications to ensure MEMA’s messaging and positioning align with member needs and industry priorities.

Since joining MEMA, MacDonald has been instrumental in establishing a strong programming strategy for the Original Equipment group. Her leadership has elevated content, deepened member engagement and ensured that MEMA Original Equipment remains a vital forum for supplier priorities. MEMA’s marketing and communications team will report to MacDonald. A search is underway for her successor as vice president, OE content, which will be announced at a later date.
“These transitions showcase the depth of talent within MEMA,” said Bill Long, president and CEO of MEMA. “Megan and Meghan are proven leaders whose vision and experience will strengthen MEMA’s ability to deliver strategic alignment, compelling communications and meaningful member programs across the vehicle supplier community. The changes, effective Jan. 3, 2026, reflect MEMA’s commitment to aligning its structure with the evolving needs of the vehicle supplier industry.”
The leadership changes are part of MEMA’s broader alignment with industry needs and evolving strategic priorities. By reinforcing enterprise-level strategy execution and expanding aftermarket content leadership, MEMA is positioning itself to deliver even greater impact for members and the industry.
