New Executive Committee Member Appointed to MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers Supply Chain & Operations Forum

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – The MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers Supply Chain & Operations Forum is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Blouin, Group Leader – Supply Chain Management at Schaeffler Group USA, Inc., as its newest Executive Committee member.

In his role, Blouin will serve as a representative of the general membership of the council, actively contributing to the development of solutions to industry issues. Executive Committee members play a crucial role in promoting the benefits of the Forum to both new and existing members.

The Supply Chain & Operations Forum (SCO Forum) serves as a vital venue for members to learn about and discuss challenges related to the procurement of raw materials and components, in-bound and out-bound movement of goods, logistics, shipping, labor, packaging, warehousing, robotics, and more.

Blouin brings a wealth of experience to the Executive Committee, with 17 years in supply chain management. His diverse background includes roles in industrial/aerospace manufacturing, automotive assembly, and the automotive aftermarket. Blouin's professional journey has taken him to five different states and a short stint in Europe. Throughout his career, Blouin has demonstrated expertise in purchasing, cash flow optimization, category management, crisis management, and lean continuous improvement. A graduate of Michigan State University, Blouin is passionate about tackling global supply chain challenges to ensure customer satisfaction.

The Supply Chain & Operations Forum welcomes Blouin to the Executive Committee and looks forward to leveraging his expertise to further the Forum's mission.
