In MEMA Center for Sustainability's March Sustainability Hour, Bryan Russell, senior director of the MEMA Center for Sustainability, and Joe Zaciek, director, research and industry analysis of MEMA provided a first-look into the results of our 2026 annual sustainability survey. They were joined by Zobeida Gutierrez, Cap 50 program director at Valeo, and Laurie Hoose, senior manager of ESG practice at Plante Moran, to discuss the member and industry perspective on the state of sustainability in 2026.

This survey shares valuable industry insights on critical areas including:

  • Sustainability reporting
  • Compliance costs
  • Industry progress towards meeting goals for greenhouse gas reductions

Note: Respondents to the survey receive more detailed results in consideration of their participation. An abridged version of the results is available to all MEMA members below.

2026 Annual Sustainability Survey Results
