Section 232 Tariffs on Automobiles and Automotive Parts – Comment Template Available for MEMA Members

On May 23, the Department of Commerce initiated an investigation to determine the effects on the national security of imports of automobiles and automotive parts. You can view the Federal Register notice here (extension of comment period here). Comments on the investigation are due Friday, June 29 and MEMA will be submitting comments. We have also put together a comment template and instructions on how to file comments on regulations.gov for any member companies that wish to submit comments.
