January Sustainability Hour | Corrugated Revolution
Stream the first Sustainability Hour of 2026 where Bob Crawford of P2 Packaging joined Bryan Russell of the MEMA Center for Sustainability in conversation. The session offers value to anyone looking to reduce their scope emissions and carbon footprint along with their operating costs.
Bob reviewed a cradle-to-grave Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of four automotive component packaging systems including:
- Reuseable corrugate packaging
- Single use corrugate packaging
- Plastic all returnable packaging
- Plastic returnable with expendable corrugate dunnage
Watch back to learn how these findings reveal that returnable corrugated packaging offered significant cost savings, reduced carbon emissions, minimized waste and enhanced circularity, making it a viable and advantageous reusable alternative to traditional plastic.
