EU and U.S. Trade Officials Gather for Talks in D.C.

Date: March 5, 2019
The EU and U.S. officials are scheduled to meet in Washington this week to further trade talks and discuss potential tariffs on cars and parts, according to reports. The meetings will take place Wednesday through Friday and will also address steel and aluminum tariffs.

EU officials are expected to raise concerns over the current of possible U.S. tariffs, especially the recently- concluded Department of Commerce report that investigates whether automobile imports represent a threat to the U.S.'s national security.
