Supplier Advocacy Network Day Cancelled Due to Coronavirus Concerns

Date: March 17, 2020

The MEMA DC team has been closely monitoring the threat of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and the rise of cases in the Washington, D.C. area. After careful consideration of the safety and health of our members and staff, we have come to the difficult conclusion to not hold our annual legislative fly-in, the Supplier Advocacy Network Day, this year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you or your team, but we ultimately believe this is the best course of action to protect participants and the integrity of the event. We will be fully refunding those who have registered.

While we are saddened by the thought of missing this opportunity to connect with you all, we are planning several smaller scale events later in the year to continue the important advocacy work we do for the industry.

Be on the lookout for alerts on virtual roundtables we will be holding with Members of Congress in the next several months. Additionally, we are planning targeted legislative fly-ins on issues like data access, mobility technology, trade, intellectual property rights, and heavy-duty NOx emissions later in the year. We are also continuing our grassroots efforts with roundtables and tours. As those are scheduled, we will share specific details with you.

Thank you for your continued participation of MEMA’s advocacy efforts and we look forward to seeing you soon.
