Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue Conference to Open with The Real-World View: A Global Perspective

Research Triangle Park, NC – January 13, 2020 – The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), the commercial vehicle division of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), and event partner MacKay & Company, are pleased to announce Rick Dauch, CEO of Delphi Technologies and Jim Kamsickas, Chairman & CEO of Dana Incorporated, as panelists for The Real-World View: A Global Perspective session at the 8th annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue (HDAD) conference.

In this opening session led by former Daimler Trucks CEO and Volvo Executive Chris Patterson, the panelists will discuss thoughts on major trends and developments impacting the global market for commercial vehicles.  Dauch and Kamsickas will address some of the more significant developments for vehicle manufacturers and suppliers including vertical integration, electrification, automated vehicles, the internet of truck things (IoTT), and current trade-related challenges.

HDAD will be held on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020 from 7:00am – 5:00pm in the Texas Ballroom at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Conference Center in Grapevine, TX. The conference is co-presented by HDMA and MacKay & Company and will immediately precede Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2020.

Registration is intended to facilitate networking with industry peers and will include digital presentation materials, breakfast, breaks, a networking luncheon, and the HDAW 2020 All-Industry Reception.
