MEMA will invite its members to come to Washington, D.C. on Oct. 23-24 to tell Congress to oppose the Sec. 232 tariffs on autos and auto parts as the White House weighs the decision to implement these tariffs on our trading partners.
It is critical that businesses impacted by these tariffs come to Washington to help us urge members of Congress to weigh in with the White House in opposition to placing tariffs on imported autos and parts. MEMA and its members will take their message to Capitol Hill: that autos and motor vehicle parts are not a national security threat.
The event will begin October 23 with a policy briefing broadcast live from the National Press Club. This will be followed by Hill meetings later in the day and into the morning of October 24.
Registration for the fly-in is free to all MEMA and division members. Click here to reserve your spot for the event. For questions about the fly-in, please contact Melanie Weiland at email@example.com.
