Ambassador C.J. Mahoney, the Deputy United States Trade Representative will provide a keynote talk during MEMA’s fly in aimed to urge passage of the USMCA on September 11. Mahoney, a key leader in the Trump Administration, will be instrumental in efforts to get the USMCA across the finish line this fall. Ambassador Mahoney is knowledgeable about all aspects of the agreement and is particularly focused on the Auto Rule of Origin provisions, including labor value content. He also serves as Deputy USTR for Investment, Services, Labor, Environment, Africa, China, and the Western Hemisphere. A link to his bio is here.
The USMCA fly-in event will connect motor vehicle parts suppliers with key Congressional leaders to urge them to pass the trade agreement. MEMA will provide those who attend with essential talking points and background information before meeting with Congress members on Capitol Hill.
The keynote speaker is yet another reason to attend the Fly In, on September 11, from 8:30 am to 5 pm. You are encouraged to register now to allow for time to plan. We are now just under a month away from the big event, so now is the time to register for the Fly-In!
